Molise Cinema 2010

Born as a bet, Molise Cinema has succeeded over the years to cause increasing interest from audiences and critics and to strengthen its international character, as evidenced by the large amount of shorts, documentaries and feature films from throughout the world.

Also this year the festival will host many stars of the big screen. Giovanna Mezzogiorno, who will present the documentary about his father Vittorio; Citto Maselli, one of the masters of Italian cinema; actress Valentina Carnelutti, among the most appreciated of his generation; the filmmaker/musician Rocco Papaleo, which will offer a concert of his band; and many young directors and actors who will present their work. We will have the usual review of the most recent Italian cinema. And then some special events at the border between cinema and other cultural fields, such as film-case by Andrea Cortellessa on publishing, the legendary piece of theater “Risotto” by Amedeo Fago, a day dedicated to the history of war and resistance, the photographic exhibition by Giovanni Piperno, the international video art … And again concerts, seminars cinema, meetings, parties for the environment with the marchers of CamminaMolise that will stop at the festival … Under the stars of our arena, within the New Cinema Rome, and in other venues of the festival will live together six days of great energy. Renewable, because good ideas never cease to be fed.
