Manco fossi Laura Chiatti is  series of autobiographical stories and anecdotes, focusing on the difficulties of a young actress in succeeding in the world of entertainment. The protagonist stages a sort of one-woman show: a parody of herself interacts with different characters between auditions, acting lessons and part time works.

All is focused on the obsession of reaching the fame and popularity of well known actresses, of which Laura Chiatti becomes ironically a symbol and a term of unreachable comparison.
