This work aims to show how life is able to punish wrongdoings. In this play avarice, lust and jealousy are reproduced in different perspectives, with the awareness that all the vices will be punished.
The text is about Falstaff’ story, a vicious man in search of money and luck, who sends the same love letter to two married women: Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Page. Both women discover the deception and decide to give a lesson to the villain.
At the same time, these events intertwine the love affair involving Anna, Mrs. Page’s daughter, and her many suitors.
