 SYNOPSIS

Itagliani! is the story of the delirium of Frevella, Neapolitan laundress who prophesied the defeat of Hitler and Mussolini in the war because of her husband Augusto Cinnicò. It is a monologue from the dual role that takes the audience on an adventure and sometimes dreamlike fable that lies between history, myth and family memories of a long-gone Naples. In the background the echoes of fascism and World War II, at the threshold. So starting on a  family drama we pass to the one of a whole people, making this play a moment of exhilarating and visionary theatre.
