Festa di Teatro Eco Logico-The Body Electric

Is it still possible to organize events without lights or microphones? What kind of energies spread up if we renounce to electricity? From these issues comes about FESTA DI TEATRO ECO LOGICO: a unique event during which theatre, music and dance are on stage without electricity. On the one hand, this implies attention to the environment, on the other hand  represents an artistic need. Mankind needs to be brought back right in the center of the artistic creation: performers have to get in touch with their voices and bodies without any filters or special effects.

The Festival will take place in  Stromboli, a great stage where earth, fire, air and water are in constant dialogue.

All the events are free entry.

The 2017 edition of Festa di Teatro Eco Logico is called “The body electric” and it’s dedicated to the 200 years from Henry David Thoreau’s birth and to the 2000 years from Ovidio’s death.
