<div align=”justify”> After Jenny De Nucci, the new face of Cortinametraggio 2022 will be the young and talented Ludovica Francesconi. She will also star on the poster of the 17th edition of the festival headed by Maddalena Mayneri for Italy’s best short films. The Festival always pays great attention to scouting and still focuses on emergent talents: a calling that’s the expression of intuition and a constant research. Ludovica Francesconi was born in 1999 in Rome. She may seem to have jumped the gun because, despite her young age, she’s already become part of the star system and is already very popular. Roberto Ciufoli and Irene Ferri will host the 17th edition of the event Cortina’s festival from the 20th to the 27th of March 2022.
At the festival there will be the second edition of the Ann’Amare Award, in honor of Annamaria Petrassi and launched by the Moretti Petrassi family, and the Cortiadi – Winter Sport Short sponsored by the FICTS – Federation International Cinema Television Sportifs, a proper “sporting competition” between participants, are also confirmed.
The Short Film section is for Italian short narrative movies, from comedies to horror, thriller, science fiction, crime and drama films, all must be made during 2021.
The selection will be made at the discretion of the Festival’s Artistic Director who will appoint a jury of professionals in the film industry among directors, actors, journalists, film critics, producers and distributors. </div>
